On 22 February – 1 March 2015 David Haviland plays Captain Robert Morgan and tells the story of his journey on the Duke of York, which brought the first settlers to South Australia.
The story will be illustrated with music of the sea including folk songs, shanties and songs by Haviland, Stanford, Dvorak and Wagner performed by international opera singers Ian Vayne and Ruth Bormann with David Haviland and introducing the wonderful voice of Alex Swanson and accompanist Bonnie Fraser.
