Santos Tour Down Under. Stage One from Port Adelaide to Lyndoch
Picture the magic of strolling down Portobello Road, without ever having to leave the Port. Fantastic local artists will pack the laneways full or art, music and creativity.
A Sunday packed with all things analogue: photographic tours of the Port's hidden corners, Ppnhole camera safaris for kids, and tintype portraiture. Dress up and pose against vintage studio sets, encounter The Beastie (camera and developing lab in one), and create striking cyanotype prints in the Loft Lab.
So you think you can't dance? Get moving and you might tap into your own innate creativity and ability to move! Try contemporary dance, ballet, hip-hop or jazz in a free 2-hour workshop, while you focus on coordination and become more aware of your body and rhythm.
If you have a musical instrument and would like to increase your repertoire, come and learn to play in different styles including classical, folk and jazz. If not, there'll be a percussion instrument ready for you to have a go anyway!
According to Shakespeare, "All the world's a stage" and thanks to Renewal SA and City of Port Adelaide Enfield, you can have some fun with improvised theatre games and practising Shakespeare's famous love and insult quotes. No previous experience necessary!
If you've ever wanted to be in one of those big, famous opera scenes, "find your voice" and develop your vocal abilities in this free workshop. You'll also get to sing in a real opera chorus supporting an opera singer. No previous training necessary!
