Port celebrates seven years in the fast lane

This year’s St Jerome’s Laneway Festival in the Port was a sell-out, bringing die-hard concert-goers together for an all-day party of trailblazing music from local and international performers.

Clocking up seven years in the Port in 2020, Laneway enjoyed a record year, bringing the historic 165-year-old Hart’s Mill alive with a winning formula of indie rock and pop spread across four main stages.

Highlights included appearances by The 1975, Charli XCX, Ruel and Tones & I as well as many other favourites, which were complemented by an array of food vendors that contributed to the concert buzz.

There is no doubt that Laneway 2020 created many cherished music memories and cemented the festival as one of Australia’s favourite touring events.
