What’s better than a cafe with delicious food? A cafe with delicious food that’s also good for the community!
Cafe Options in the Port opened in January 2018, with a determination to not just be part of the community but to uplift the community too.
The Vietnamese street food cafe at 118 Commercial Road, employs and trains people who are socially and economically disadvantaged including people with disability and people from CALD backgrounds. This social enterprise is an employment project run by Clubhouse SA Inc., a not-for-profit NGO, that supports people with lived experience of mental health issues.
The menu is mouthwatering, with everyone’s favourite, Bahn-Mi, as well as a range of other mouth-watering Vietnamese style food, coffee and cake. Their curries and noodle soups do an excellent job of warming any winter’s day.
Cafe Options also provides a wonderful catering service that’s perfect for your next event or get together.
