Rejuvenation continues with Port Approach North redevelopment

As the Our Port community and its visitors would know, the Port is evolving into an area where creativity, commerce, entertainment and education fuse into one energetic and rewarding destination.

New developments are well underway, attracting a growing local population as well as more visitors, businesses and workers to the Port.

We are now pleased to be calling for expressions of interest (EOI) for Port Approach North precinct.

The relocation of Incitec Pivot, from the Port Approach North to outer Port Adelaide, now provides the opportunity to release this land for redevelopment.

Port Approach North is approximately 12 hectares and located 7 kilometres from the Osborne Naval Shipyard, and less than 2 kilometres from the city centre of Port Adelaide, with access to the Port River Expressway.

Renewal SA’s Acting Chief Executive, Mark Devine said this is a significant opportunity to revitalise and transform the land into a light industrial, commercial or mixed-use development.

“This is a rare offering in Port Adelaide due to its strategic location and access to key transport routes, and in close proximity to defence industries,” Mr Devine said.

“The land would be suitable for local, national and international developers or investors with the vision to capitalise on this unique land holding and its strategic location within Port Adelaide.”

This EOI process will build on the momentum and success of Renewal SA’s urban renewal project, Our Port which seeks to have more people living, working, investing and spending time in Port Adelaide.
