Dale Street West will evolve into a vibrant, safe and affordable residential area with opportunities for ground floor retail and commercial activity where it meets St Vincent Street and the Retail Core.
New development of up to three-storeys around Minories Street and consolidated renewed public housing of up to five-storeys will create a diverse social mix while maintaining affordability.
New development within the Dale Street West precinct will respect the form, height and scale of existing heritage buildings and reflect the historic integrity of the area.
Church Street will be improved with enhanced walkways, better lighting and signage, parking and public transport connections. On Minories Street, pedestrians and cyclists will also be able to enjoy upgraded paths and connections throughout the precinct.
