Winterfest is BACK!
This year’s Winterfest will be bigger and better, thanks to the overwhelmingly positive response from the community and local businesses in 2017.
Winterfest 2018 has been expanded to 17 days to include all weekends in the July 2018 school holidays.
The weather will be cold but that won’t stop us in the Port. Pull out your woollies and prepare for the next installment of winter warming wonder at the Our Port Winterfest.
Snowballing into historic Hart’s Mill you’ll once again find our very own ice-skating rink, winter markets, live music, kid’s activities, workshops and more delicious winter food and drink than you can poke a stick at PLUS an even bigger selection of shows and acts.

Get your skates on
BOOK ICE SKATING TICKETS
Our giant waterfront ice skating rink is returning as the glistening centrepiece for Winterfest 2018. You can strap on the skates daily from 10am, all while taking in our picturesque Port Adelaide views.
This is THE most frozen fun you can have… trust us! No matter your level of ability, taking a zip around the rink is sure to result in endless laughs.
For those feeling a little wobbly, you can hire a skating penguin to help you on your way.
The Ice Cube
The Winterfest activities and entertainment line-up will be expanded this year, with crafts for children and adults during the day in a new pop-up venue, the Ice Cube, to be constructed near the historic Flour Shed building. By evening, the Ice Cube will become the coolest place to be for comedy and live music.
Winter Workshops
We’ve got winter workshops for young and old this year with something to delight every taste. Find one to suit you.
A Taste of Winter
Another new addition in 2018 will be Short Days, Long Lunches, which will give local chefs the chance to showcase their talents with long table lunch style meals and matched wines.
And so much more…
Wander through the winter markets with so many local SA stalls where you can pick up an amazing range of winter wonders. There’ll be clothing, jewellery, candles, cakes and more thanks to POSH Markets.
Snuggle up by open fires, grab soul-warming food and drink from one of the food trucks and bars, listen to free live music in the Flour Shed.
Getting here
There’s an abundance of parking right near Winterfest and it’s free too! There will be parking available on site at Hart’s Mill, with additional parking located in surrounding streets.
If you’d prefer to catch public transport Port Adelaide is easily accessible by both bus and train, with multiple stops nearby. Remember, when catching the Outer Harbour line your journey on foot to Hart’s Mill will be shorter if you get off at the Ethelton Station. You can plan your journey at the Adelaide Metro website.
