Interest from investors in Port Adelaide continues to grow, and this is a positive sign for the area’s future.
Following on from the news of the sale of the Port Admiral Hotel with restoration work beginning, construction has begun on new tourist accommodation facilities at Fishermen’s Wharf.
Premier Jay Weatherill, developer Hans Ehmann and Quest Apartments Brand General Manager Tony Gauci turned the first sod of dirt at the Nelson Street site recently.
The building will feature 103 serviced apartments over five levels and will be completed around this time next year.
Part of the loop path in front of the construction site is temporarily closed off, but detours are in place — just look for the signs.
