Wonderwalls Festival 2017 Event Gallery

Some of the best street artists from around the world transformed Port Adelaide streetscapes at the free Wonderwalls Festival 2017.

More than 30 artists took part in the inaugural South Australian Wonderwalls festival in January 2015 transforming key sites – such as the Marine and Harbours building on St Vincent Street and Harts Mill – into vibrant art installations. Due to the incredible success of this festival in 2015, it returned again Portside providing the canvas for the transformation of prominent walls into large murals.

Over the three-day festival, 33 murals were painted with more than 15,000 guests visiting as artwork took its shape. Among the international artists were Telmo Miel from the Netherlands, Amanda Lynn from San Francisco, Fats from Canada, Inti from Chile, Fuzeillear from the UK and Natalia Rak from Poland.

The event kicked off with an opening night street party, backed up with another street party on Saturday night full of music, colour and food trucks. There were also artist talks, photo tours, walking tours and exhibitions.

The Wonderwalls Festival is presented by Wonderwalls, Renewal SA and the City of Port Adelaide Enfield together with art suppliers Ironlak and Taubmans.
