Community Garden

Started in June 2014, the Port Adelaide Community Garden has become a great addition to life at Our Port.

The garden’s mantra is “A garden for people of Port Adelaide to plant, grow and enjoy fresh produce, share and learn from others, and build a strong community spirit.”

Through support from Renewal SA and City of Port Adelaide Enfield as well as generous assistance from local businesses, the previously vacant Radio Shack building at Dock One has been temporarily refitted as a community space for garden members as well as the surrounding land housing the garden beds.

The community garden’s temporary home is on the corner of Divett and Todd streets, Dock One. For a small fee, budding gardeners are welcome to join in the planting, watering, chatting and growing of a strong Port Adelaide social group.
